I'm Romane, a nature and sport photographer based in Sydney. Surfing is where I started — I'm out at Bondi before sunrise, long lens in hand, waiting for the one wave that's worth it.
What I'm really chasing is movement and the unrepeatable moment — the split second a wave breaks, a body catches its balance, water turns to light. It's the same instinct that's pulling me toward wildlife photography next: same patience, same hunt for the one frame nobody else caught.
